These turned out great! I accidentally made giant cookies because I didn’t realize this was for two batches until the very end. Are accidentally making giant cookies really a problem though? I am a beginner baker. Meaning, this was my first baked good I’ve made from scratch…. Ever. They turned out so good! They don’t taste gluten free and have chewy soft centers. My husband loved them!

Hello.
Could you please tell me what is specific about the flour that you use ? I live in the U.K so don’t have access to that flour. I normally use Dove’s Gluten Free Plain flour ( that’s what I used for your Oatmeal cookies and the spice cake ) I’m dying to try this recipe but I’m worried about my flour ? Thanks in advance ?

I made half the batter then realized I was all out of eggs. Fingers crossed this turns out right without eggs ?‍♀️

Doesn’t taste quite like a normal cookie. It taste grainy and very sugary. I should have halved the recipe ?

Very good cookies! I only wish it specified in the directions to roll the dough into balls. It says to drop but I read after that I should’ve rolled them into balls. Oh well- amoeba shaped cookies are still delicious!

best cookie recipe ever. I refregerated the dough to firm it up. came out chewy in the middle, and crispy outside. Love love love.

In reply to Esther. Hmmm....this is a really good question. Since this recipe uses melted butter, oil will probably work. However, it won't bring much flavor to the cookies and when the cookies cool, the mouthfeel will be a little different than cookies made with melted butter. If you can, I'd replace the butter with melted dairy-free margarine. (Assuming you're making the swap for dairy-free reasons.) I hope that helps!

This is one of the greatest chocolate chip cookies i’ve ever had! Very caky and you cannot tell they are gluten free. I highly recommend this recipe!
